It's Never Too Late to Become a Cowgirl: A Riding Book Club for Horse Lovers

Saddle Up for a New Adventure at Kenshō Stables!

If your happy place is on the back of a horse and you love playing cowgirl on the weekends—learning skills like great groundwork, horsewomanship, balanced bareback riding, roping, and trail riding—It’s Never Too Late to Become a Cowgirl is calling your name.

This book-led riding club is designed for women who want to dive into fresh training ideas, strengthen their bond with their horse, and enjoy the journey with a supportive group of like-minded riders. Each series features a carefully chosen book or other media by a top trainer, giving us a guide to explore new techniques and perspectives.

We’ll meet for play-practice days in the beautiful Kenshō partially-covered arena, where we can put what we’ve learned into action, share insights, and have fun together. It’s all about discovery, connection, and enjoying our horses 🐎✨

Learn, Practice, Play

Every series kicks off with a trainer’s book, course, or online training as our guide. You’ll read, watch, or listen to the material at your own pace, and then bring your horse (or lease our horses or simply audit) for play-practice days. These sessions are all about putting what you’ve learned into action, experimenting with techniques, and having fun while you and your horse grow together. It’s the perfect mix of independent learning and community support!
